1. Islam means surrender and peace - Islamic is an Arabic word that means surrender, assimilation, peace, and purity. From a religious perspective, it means that a person should surrender all his wishes and desires to Allah.

2. Journey of Hajj - For every Muslim who is rich and has money as per the standards set by Islam, it is obligatory for him to perform Hajj once in his life. You will be surprised to know that every year more than 3 billion people go to Hajj in the world. They leave for Hajj from across the country.

3. Second largest religion in the world - After Christianity, Islam is the largest religion in the world. Its number of followers is close to 2 billion. You will be surprised to know that Islam is the fastest-spreading religion in the world. At present, there are more than 50 countries in the world where Islam is the main religion.

4. The Quran is a heavenly book - Like the Torah of Jews and the Bible of Christians, the Quran is also a heavenly book. Changes took place in the Torah and Bible with time, but change is not possible in the Quran because Allah himself has taken responsibility for its protection.

The literal meaning of the Quran is recitation or recitation. Quran is the word of Allah which was revealed by Him to the last Prophet Hazrat Mohammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. The name of the angel who brings the same is Gabriel.

6. Jihad does not mean war - Through the Western media, Jihad has been used in the sense of war, but the real meaning of Jihad is struggle and struggle. The word Jihad is not used anywhere in the Quran as a holy war.

There has been no change in the Quran - The book Torah and Injil (Bible), which were revealed to Moses and Jesus, have undergone many changes over time and they do not exist in their original condition today, but what kind of old book is there in which there has been no change till date? It did not happen and it exists in the same condition in which it was revealed.

8. The Islamic calendar started in 622 AD - In western countries, people usually start the year from zero i.e. from the time when Isha Alaihissalam was born. The Islamic calendar starts from 622 AD, which means that the 1441st year of the Islamic calendar is currently going on.

9. Allah means God in the Arabic language - Allah means God or God in the Arabic language. This is not a new God, this is the same God whom Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) believed in, whom Moses (Alaihis Salaam) believed in, whom Jesus (Alaihis Salaam) believed in, that is, the same God who created the world.

10. A man who oppresses women is not a follower of Islam - Hazrat Mohammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "The best among you is the one who treats his wives well." Islam has truly given many rights to women and those who Any man who oppresses women is a denier of the words of Allah and His Messenger.

In many countries men oppress women. Those who do this do not accept the words of the Quran and continue to follow the old and conservative things of their culture and Sanskrit, which have nothing to do with Islam.

11. Shia and Sunni - There are two sects that follow Islam which are known as Shia and Sunni. Most of the Muslim population in the world is Sunni and only 15 percent are followers of the Shia sect.

Shia and Sunni both believe in the Quran but they both have different opinions regarding Hadith (the words said by Prophet Mohammad are called Hadith).

12. Islam is a religion for everyone - The biggest feature of Islam is that everyone can adopt it, it does not matter what color you are, which area you are from, or which tribe you belong to. The truth is that only 15 percent of the Muslims in the world are of Arabic ethnicity and the rest are those who have accepted Islam.

13. Islam, Judaism, and Christianity are all linked to Abraham - unlike the different gods of Hindus, the Abrahamic religions believe in one God and that there is only one Creator. These three religions (Islam, Judaism, and Christianity) are associated with Hazrat Ibrahim, and even Adam and Eve were followers of this Abrahamic religion.

14. The Quran teaches tolerance and brotherhood between Muslims and non-Muslims - Generally people believe that Islam teaches people to kill and commit atrocities but this has nothing to do with the truth. In the Quran, Allah has prohibited murder. It has been termed as the murder of all humanity.

The Quran also prohibits Muslims from saying wrong things about the gods of Muslims. The Quran says that if you do not speak ill of the gods of Muslims, it may happen that they unknowingly start speaking ill of your God.
