Story Of Birth Of Ganesh

One day Parvati Mata was going to take bath but there was no guard present for her. So he incarnated a boy with sandalwood paste and named him Ganesha.

Mother Parvati ordered Ganesha should not to allow anyone inside the house without his permission. At that time Lord Shiva, the husband of Mother Parvati, had gone out for some work.

When Shiva returned, he saw a boy standing at the door, he thought that Yuhi might have come there while playing. When they started going inside, the boy stopped them and did not let them go.

Seeing this, Shiva got angry and asked his riding bull Nandi to fight with that boy, whereas in the war that little boy defeated Nandi.

Often you must have heard in the stories that Shiva used to get angry very quickly and seeing Ganesha winning, Lord Shiva got angry again and he cut off that hair from Ganesha's head.

When Mother Parvati returned, she was very sad to see the child's head separated and started crying loudly. When Shiva came to know that he was his own son, he also realized his mistake.

Shiva tried to convince Parvati a lot but she did not listen and started taking the name of Ganesha and getting hurt. Seeing his wife unhappy, Shiva also became sad.

In the end, Mother Parvati got angry and asked Shiva to revive Ganesha with her power. Shiva said - "O Parvati, I can make Ganesha alive, but only after connecting the head of any other living creature."

Mother Parvati cried and said I want my son alive in any condition. Now how could he not respect the wife's words and only then did he orders Nandi - go Nandi, cut off the head of any living creature you find in this world.

When Nandi was searching for the head, he first saw an elephant from him, then he cut off its head and brought it.

Lord Shiva attached that head to the body of Ganesha and donated life to Ganesha.

That is why Shiva named Ganesha Ganapati and all the other gods gave him a boon that whatever new work will be done in this world first! Will remember Jai Shree Ganesh.

Childhood Story of Ganesh

Once upon a time, Kuber, the god of wealth, became very proud of himself, that he is the richest god in this world. To show the splendor of his wealth, he once held a grand banquet (party) and invited all the gods to it.

He also invited Lord Shiva, but due to some reason, Shiva could not go and asked his younger son Ganesh Ji to go there from his house.

Following the orders of the father, Ganesh Ji went there and what was then, after going there, Ganesh Ji started having dinner, and on seeing he finished all the food of Sara.

Even so, Ganesh Ji's hunger did not go away, and he also started eating the utensils kept there. When there were no utensils left, the whole city of Alkapuri (Kuber City) ate whatever was found.

Now there is nothing left to eat, so he runs towards Kubera to eat only. What was it then, to save his life, Kuber took shelter of Lord Shiva on the Himalayan mountain, and said, save me from Ganesh Ji.

Lord Shiva gave some boiled rice in a bowl to Ganesh Ji and then his hunger was satisfied. Just Ganesh Ji did all this to teach a lesson to Kubera.

The Story Of The Mouse And Ganesh

Gajmukh was the king of a very terrible asura. He wanted to become very powerful and wealthy, and he also wanted to subdue all the gods and goddesses, so he always did penance for a boon from Lord Shiva.

In order to get a boon from Shiva, he left his kingdom and started living in the forest to get the boon from Shiva, he started doing penance night and day without drinking water and eating food.

A few years passed, and Shivaji was impressed by seeing his immense tenacity as Shiva appeared in front of him.

Shivaji was pleased and gave him divine powers, which made him very powerful.

The biggest strength that Shiva gave him was that he could not be killed by any weapon. Asura Gajmukh became proud of his powers and started abusing his powers and started attacking the deities.

Only Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, and Ganesha were saved from his terror. Gajmukh wanted every deity to worship him. Seeing all this, Shiva sent Ganesha to stop the demon Gajmukh from doing all this.

Ganesh Ji fought with Gajmukh and badly injured the demon Gajmukh. But even then he disagreed. That demon transformed himself into a mouse and ran to attack Ganesha.

As soon as he reached Ganesh Ji, Ganesh Ji jumped and sat on top of him and Ganesh Ji changed Gajmukh into the mus for life and kept it as his vehicle for life.

Later Gajmukh was also pleased with this form and also became a dear friend of Ganesha.
