Who Was Kansa?
Once upon a time, Kansa, the king of Mathura, was the brother of Devaki. He was going to drop his sister Devaki at his in-laws' house when suddenly there was an Akashvani on the way. It was told in that Akashvani that the eighth son born from the womb of your sister i.e. Devaki, whom you are happily talking to her in-laws' house, will kill you. Kansa was frightened when he asked to kill Vasudeva (Devaki's husband).
Devaki And Vasudev Have Taken Prisoner
Then Devaki pleaded with Kansa and said that I will hand over my child to you by bringing myself, your brother-in-law is innocent, what will be the benefit of killing him. Kansa obeyed Devaki and put Vasudev and Devaki in the jail of Mathura.
After some time in prison, Devaki and Vasudev got a child. As soon as Kansa came to know about this, he came to the prison and killed that child. Similarly, Kansa killed seven sons of Devaki and Vasudeva one by one. When it was the turn of the eighth child, the guard in the prison was doubled. Many soldiers were stationed in the prison.
Birth Of Lord Shri Krishna
Yashoda and Nanda saw the problems of Devaki and Vasudeva and thought of a way to protect their eighth son. At the time when the eighth son of Devaki and Vasudeva was born, at the same time, a daughter was born to Yashoda and Nanda. Which was just an elusive trick.
After the birth of the eighth son, suddenly there was light in the cell where Devaki and Vasudeva were imprisoned. Lord Vishnu appeared in the form of a quadrilateral holding a mace and a conch in his hand. Devaki and Vasudeva fell at his feet. Then God said - "I take the form of a child again.

The serpent will protect you and the child from the heavy rain."
Krishna Reached Vrindavan
Vasudev Ji left the infant Shri Krishna in the soup. Crossing the raging Yamuna, he reached Nanda's house in Vrindavan. After putting the child to sleep, they came back with their daughter. After reaching back the gate automatically closed.
As soon as Kansa got the news that Devaki had given birth to a child, he immediately came to the prison. As soon as Kansa snatched her and tried to kill her, the girl immediately flew into the air and said – O evil creature, what will you get by killing me, the one who killed you has reached Vrindavan. Saying this she disappeared.

After some time he sent another demon to kill Shri Krishna. The demon, taking the form of a heron, rushed to kill Shri Krishna, immediately Shri Krishna caught hold of him and threw him. After which the demon went straight to hell. Since then the name of that demon was Vakasur.
After that Kansa sent Kaliya Nag. Then Shri Krishna fought with him and later he started dancing while playing the flute on the head of the snake. After that Kaliya Nag left from there. Similarly, Shri Krishna killed many demons of Kansa. When Kansa felt that now this would not be possible with the demons. Then Kansa himself set out to kill Shri Krishna. There was a war between the two and Shri Krishna killed Kansa.

Krishna Became A Charioteer In Mahabharata And Knowledge Of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita
Shri Krishna also became the charioteer of the archer Arjuna's chariot in the war of Mahabharata. Shri Krishna had given many sermons to Arjuna during the war, which proved to be very helpful for Arjuna to fight the war. These teachings were the teachings of the Gita which were told by Shri Krishna.
This sermon is still famous by the name of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta. Lord Shri Krishna had ensured the outcome of this war without taking up arms in this war. In this war of Mahabharata, the Pandavas destroyed the entire Kaurava dynasty, including the ungodly Duryodhana, by conquering unrighteousness by religion.
Duryodhana's mother Gandhari believed Lord Krishna to be the reason for the death of her sons and the destruction of the Kaurava dynasty. That is why after the end of this war, when Lord Krishna had gone to console Gandhari, then Gandhari, distraught in the grief of his sons, got angry and cursed Shri Krishna that the way my Kaurava dynasty was destroyed by fighting amongst themselves, In the same way, your Yadu dynasty will also be destroyed. After this Shri Krishna went to the city of Dwarka.
Curse Of Sage Durvasa
Dwarka was very calm and happy even after almost 35 years of the war of Mahabharata. Gradually, the sons of Shri Krishna became very powerful and in this way, the whole Yaduvansh had become very powerful. It is said that once Lord Krishna's son Samba insulted the Durvasa sage under the influence of fickleness.
After which Durvasa Rishi got angry and cursed Samba for the destruction of Yaduvansh. Along with being powerful, now sin and crime had increased very much in Dwarka. Sri Krishna was very sad to see such an atmosphere in his happy Dwarka.
He suggested his subjects go to the banks of the Prabhas river and get rid of their sins, after which all the people went to the banks of the Prabhas river but due to the curse of Durvasa Rishi, all the people got drunk there and started arguing with each other. Started. Their debate took the form of civil war which destroyed the entire Yadu dynasty.
Death Of Shri Krishna
According to the Bhagavata Purana, it is believed that Shri Krishna was very upset after seeing the destruction of his lineage. It was because of his suffering that he started living in the forest. One day while he was resting in yoga sleep under a peepal tree in the forest, a hunter named Jara mistook his leg as a deer and attacked him with a poisoned arrow.
This arrow fired by Zara had pierced the soul of Shri Krishna's foot. Using this piercing of a poisoned arrow as an excuse, Shri Krishna renounced his body form and sat in the form of Narayan in Baikunth Dham. Along with giving up the body form, the city of Dwarka, which was settled by Shri Krishna, also got absorbed in the sea.
