Good Morning Kids Stories
1. Freedom From Suffering
Once Lord Buddha was preaching in a village. A rich man was listening to the sermon there. He wanted to ask a question to Lord Buddha,
But he was hesitant to ask questions in front of everyone because he had a great reputation in the village. The question was such that his reputation would be at stake.
After the sermon was over, when everyone left, he folded his hands in front of Buddha and asked a question -
Lord, I have everything - money, wealth, prestige, there is no shortage of anything, but I am not happy, What is the secret of being happy?
I want to know how to be happy always.
(Hearing this, Lord Buddha took him with himself to the forest)
And seeing a big stone in front, he said, pick up this stone and come with me.
After some time, the man started having pain in his hand, but he remained silent. After a lot of time passed, he could not bear the pain and said to Buddha - I am having a lot of pain in my hand.
Buddha Ji said- put the stone down and as soon as he put the stone down he felt relieved.
Then Buddha explained that this is “the secret of being happy.”
That person did not understand anything.
Buddha Ji said – Just as the longer you hold this stone in your hand, the more it will hurt. Similarly, the longer we keep the burden of sorrow on our shoulders, the more sad and disappointed we will remain.
If a person wants to be happy then he has to learn to put down the stone of sadness as soon as possible.
Friends, we all do this, and we keep carrying the burden of sorrow in our lives.
Freedom from sorrow is possible only when we quickly remove the burden of sorrow from our mind and remain happy by being free from desires or being thankful for what we have.
Remember, every moment is new in itself and it is better to fully enjoy our present moment rather than harboring bitter memories of what has passed.
2. To Be Self-Reliant
The king often used to go in disguise to know the condition of his subjects. Once the king was passing through the village.
Just then they see an old man in front of them. The king goes to him and says – Why are you so old and carrying the burden of these woods?
The old man says – I am a poor man. That's why I'm doing this.
The king says – Don't you know that the kings here help the poor and destitute people by giving them money.
The old man says – I know very well. But as long as I have life in my hands. I have strength in my body, so why should I depend on others.
The king becomes very happy after hearing this and says – I wish there were more people like you, then half of the king's worries would have gone away. Due to this, our state would definitely progress.
Being self-reliant is the greatest quality of a person. A self-reliant person lives without fear. Such a person helps others instead of taking help from others.
3. Hot Chilli
Two little ants lived in the forest. One sister's name was Mini and the other sister's name was Naini. Mini was of a very calm nature and Nanny was of an irritable nature.
Everyone liked Mini very much because she used to talk sweetly to everyone. That's why everyone spoke sweet Egyptian to him.
But no one liked Nanny because she spoke angrily to everyone. That's why everyone called him hot pepper.
One day Mini Nanny and some ants go to Motu Hathi's shop. There they find ‘white pieces’ on the ground.
Mini picks up those pieces tastes them and says – These are so sweet.
Then the fat elephant says to his servant donkey – You have dropped all the grains of Egypt. Pick them up quickly, otherwise, ants will attack them.
Mini says – What, this is Misri?
Mini's friend Cherry says – Mini calls you all sweet because you speak sweetly like an Egyptian.
Then the nanny says – what kind of hot chilies are there? Let me also taste it. Why does everyone call me hot pepper?
Cherry says – If you touch the chili, you will be in very bad condition.
Just then the monkey comes to the shop and says – give me half a kilo of chili.
The donkey servant goes inside and goes out with the chili. Some pieces of chili fall on the ground.
Seeing this, Naini immediately touches Mirchi. As soon as one touches chili, one starts feeling a burning sensation in one's body.
Mini immediately takes it home and pours water on it. But still, there is itching on the nanny's body.
Nanny says – Hot chilies are very bad. That's why everyone calls me hot pepper.
From now on, I will also speak sweetly like Mini. I will not speak wrong to anyone.
I have come to know that only good behavior takes a person forward in life.
4. Baby Goat
A goat lived with her child in the forest. His name was Golu. He was very naughty. He loved playing.
One day he goes towards the forest while playing. After a long time, Golu is no longer visible. Seeing this the goat gets very upset.
The goat quickly runs towards the forest and calls out loudly – Golu, Golu, where are you?
Just then Golu comes from behind and says – Mother, I am here.
The goat looks at him and says – Golu, I had forbidden you not to come this way. Someday you yourself will get trapped and you will also get me trapped.
The next day Golu goes to the forest again. As soon as he goes to the forest. He meets a wolf.
Golu gets scared after seeing the wolf. The wolf comes to him to eat him.
As the wolf approaches him, suddenly the goat arrives with his friend the hound.
As soon as the hunting dog barks loudly, the wolf gets scared and runs away and Golu is saved.
Lesson: – We learn from this story that we should always obey our elders. Whatever big people say, they say it for our good.
5. Magic Wand
There was a boy named Divyansh. He concentrated less on his studies and more on sports. For this reason, his parents were worried.
Complaints about Divyansh often came from the school.
One day his mother got an idea. He ‘placed a letter and a stick on Divyansh’s table.’ After some time, Divyansh comes and opens the letter.
It was written in it – Dear Divyansh, I am Pari Didi.
"I am giving you a magic wand. If you keep this stick with you and study, you will remember everything and you will come first in the class. ,
From that day onwards, Divyansh kept his stick with him and started studying diligently. With the magic of his stick, he started remembering everything. Everyone started becoming very happy with him.
Divyansh says to his mother – Mother, look, with the magic of the stick, I have come first in the class.
Mummy says – It is not a magic wand. It's just a simple stick. I had kept that stick to correct you. You have come first because of your hard work.
Divyansh says – Mom, I have now understood that success comes through hard work. Not with any stick. From now on, I will work hard.
