Importance Of Ganesh Chaturthi
Like the stories of other Gods and Goddesses, the story of Lord Ganesha is also very interesting and inspiring. Let us know about it in detail today.
Once Mother Parvati was going to take a bath. Then he made an effigy from the dirt of his body to guard the gate. And he breathed life into it and transformed it into a beautiful child. Mother Parvati tells the child I am going to take a bath, you stand at the door and do not let anyone enter the door without my permission. Saying this, Mother Parvati makes the child stand at the door and goes to take a bath.
That child is guarding the door when Lord Shankar ji comes there and as soon as he is about to go inside, the child stops him there. Lord Shankar ji asks the boy to move out of his way but the boy, following the orders of Mother Parvati, stops Lord Shankar from entering inside. Due to this Lord Shankar becomes angry and in anger takes out his trident and separates the neck of that child from the torso.
When Mother Parvati comes out after hearing the pained voice of the child, she becomes very sad to see the severed head of the child. She tells Lord Shankar that he was a child created by him who was following his orders. And Mother Parvati asks him to bring her son back to life.
Then Lord Shankar orders his servants to go to the earth and bring back the head of the child whose mother is sleeping with her back towards her child. When the servants go, they see a baby elephant. Whose mother is sleeping with her back toward him? The servants cut off the head of the baby elephant and bring it back.
Then Lord Shankar ji, by placing the head of that elephant on the head of the child, brings him back to life. Lord Shankar ji declares that the child is the master of all his clans. Since then the child has been named Ganapati.
Lord Shankar also gives a boon to Ganpati that he will be worshiped first among the gods. That is why he is worshiped first. It is believed that no work is completed without his worship.
Ganesh Chaturthi Fast Story
There was a very poor old lady. She was also blind. He had a son and daughter-in-law. That old lady used to worship Lord Ganesha regularly. One day, pleased with her devotion, Lord Ganesha appeared and said to the old woman -
Old mother! You can ask for whatever you want.' I will fulfill your wish.
The old lady says I don't know how to ask. How and what to ask for?
Ganesh Ji says to ask for something from your son and daughter-in-law.
Then the old woman goes to ask her son. After telling the whole story to her son, she asks what should I ask for from my son. The son says Mother, you ask for money. After that, when I asked my daughter-in-law, she asked me to ask for a grandson.
Then the old lady thought that all of them were asking for things for their own purposes. Then she goes to ask her neighbor, and the neighbor says, old lady, you will live for a few more days, why should you ask for money and why should you ask for grandchildren. You ask for the light of your eyes so that your life can be spent comfortably.
After a lot of thinking, the old lady said to Lord Ganesha - If you are happy, then give me nine crores worth of Maya, give me a healthy body, give me immortal honey, give me eyesight, give me grandson, give me happiness and give happiness to all the family. And finally, give salvation.
Hearing this, Ganeshji said – Old mother! You asked for everything. Still, whatever you have asked for, you will get it as per the promise. And saying this, Lord Ganesha disappears. Whatever the old mother asked for, she got it.
Hey Ganeshji Maharaj! Just like you gave everything to that old mother, give it to everyone in the same way.
Ganesh Chaturthi Puja Method
