Ambedkar Jayanti Speech

April 14 is the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution of India. Ambedkar, popularly known as Baba Saheb, was a great thinker, social reformer, legal expert, economic expert, multilingual speaker, editor, and journalist.

Dr. Ambedkar was born on 14 April 1891 in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh in a Mahar family, which was considered a lower caste in those days.

Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was a great leader of Dalits. He devoted his whole life to the upliftment of Dalits. He always talked about equality, be it equality between human beings or equality before the law.

On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, seminars, meetings, and other programs are held in schools, colleges, government offices, and other places. If you are planning to give a speech or write an essay at an event, then you can take examples from the speech given below.

Respected teachers, principal sir, and my dear colleagues,

Today the country is celebrating Ambedkar Jayanti with great pomp. Dr. BR Ambedkar is the person who gave India its constitution and no country can run without a constitution.

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, popularly known as Baba Saheb, is called the architect of the constitution and the architect of constitution. He not only played the most important role in the making of the constitution but also raised his voice against the atrocities on Dalits in society.

Babasaheb spent his whole life in the struggle against the caste system prevailing in Indian society. He made a lot of efforts to bring equality to Indian society. He struggled throughout his life to get Dalits and backward people their rights. He always supported the rights of the working class and women.

Born on April 14, 1891, in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, Babasaheb used to say that he believes in a religion that teaches liberty, equality, and brotherhood. He believed that life should be great rather than long.

Baba Saheb Ambedkar's family belonged to the Mahar caste, which was considered untouchable. He was a Dalit. He reached the post of the first Law Minister of independent India on the basis of his ability by fighting the discrimination prevailing in the society at that time.

In 1990, he was posthumously awarded India's highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna. He was one of the first few Dalit and backward-class people to get admission to any college in India. Being a Dalit, he faced a lot of discrimination during his education.

He obtained a degree in Economics and Political Science from Bombay University. When he went to America to do his MA, he was only 22 years old. Ambedkar formed the Labor Party in 1936.

Ambedkar brought out fortnightly and weekly papers named 'Excluded India', 'Silent Hero', and 'Janata' to raise his voice against the atrocities on Dalits.

Dr. Ambedkar also played an important role in labor reforms in the country. Ambedkar encouraged labor unions and started employment exchanges on an all-India basis.

Friends, on this day it is our responsibility to take a pledge to spread the message of his thoughts. Follow his words and apply them in your life.

Hail Bhim, Hail India! Jai Hind.
