Story Of The Cemetery - Bedtime Stories For Adults

Manohar's house was behind the old graveyard and he had a good view of that graveyard from the terrace of his house. He used to cross that graveyard every day to go to his work. Manohar had two children and both children were very naughty, the elder son's name was Rocky and the younger son's name was Vicky.

Once during the summer vacation, Rocky and Vicky's sister Sonia had also come. All three together were playing Truth and Dare in a room around 12 o'clock in the night. Rocky asks Sonia whether they will take Truth or Dare, Sonia takes Dare and asks will you not ask her to do something dangerous.

Rocky - If this is not the case, then go and come from the terrace, and we will have to pluck flowers from the pot kept on the terrace, only then we will know that you have come from the terrace.

Sonia – The cemetery is visible from the terrace. No, I will not go.

Both Rocky and Vicky force Sonia to go to the terrace. Sonia goes to the terrace and as soon as she moves toward the flower in the pot, her eyes fall toward the graveyard.

There is a big dry tree in the graveyard, and she sees that a headless dead body is hanging on that tree. Sonia sees him and faints crying loudly. Then when Sonia does not return from the terrace for a long time, both Rocky and Vicky get scared and they go to the terrace and see that Sonia is lying unconscious, they immediately call Manohar and tell him the whole thing.

Manohar – What was the need for all three of you to play such a game Rocky you know what kind of news comes about that cemetery, yet why did you send Sonia to go to the terrace at night.

Rocky - Sorry Dad I made a mistake, we will not do this in the future.

Manohar – And if you ever do such a thing again, I will leave you both in the same graveyard. Ok Sonia's daughter, tell me what did you see there that you fainted there.

Sonia in a panic state tells Manohar all about what she saw. Manohar had heard such news about that cemetery earlier too, so he does not scold Sonia and advised the children to be careful. One day Manohar gets late to get leave work and that day he does not even get an auto, he walks home on foot. Here both Vicky and Rocky talk to each other.

Rocky – Vicky what do you think Sonia said is true. I think she is just making things up, it must be her illusion.

Vicky - Oh no brother, you did not see her condition even for a day and were not ready to stay here, I think she must have really seen something.

Rocky - Let us go to the cemetery and see for ourselves.

Despite Vicky's refusal, Rocky does not agree and walks alone toward the cemetery, opens the cemetery door and goes inside. He also looks towards the tree on which Sonia found the headless dead body upside down. Rocky stands and looks at the tree, then an invisible hand grabs his legs, Rocky gets scared and starts shouting loudly (Save..save..leave me, I made a mistake, I will never come here again. )

On the other corner, there is a grave that is open, and there is blood on it, those invisible hands drag Rocky and start trying to push him into that grave. Rocky shouts (Leave it, leave it, I made a mistake, I will never come here again, don't hit me, let me go) Manohar is about to walk home from work, as he passes by the graveyard, he hears Rocky's voice.

Manohar – What is this, it sounds like Rocky's voice, it is coming from the graveyard, I should go and see.

Manohar looks around in the graveyard but Rocky is nowhere to be seen. He comes back home and asks Vicky where is Rocky.

Vicky – Despite my repeated refusals, father Rocky went to the cemetery. He wanted to know whether what Sonia was saying was true or not.

Manohar – We don't have time at all, go and bring the water that is kept in the conch in the temple of the house quickly, we have to go to the cemetery to find Rocky.

Vicky brings that water. Manohar and Vicky go to the graveyard. Manohar sprinkles water, then he sees the mark of someone's dragging, he understands and then follows that mark and reaches that grave. He sprinkles water around the beautiful grave. Vicky gets scared when strange noises come from the grave.

Manohar – I think the cursed ghosts have imprisoned Rocky inside this grave, we have to get out of it soon, keep sprinkling this holy water around, those ghosts will not be able to harm us. I try to open the tomb.

Manohar tries a lot to open that grave, and at last, that grave opens, Rocky is lying unconscious inside it, and Manohar takes Rocky to the hospital, his condition is very serious. After that day, Manohar leaves that house and goes away from the city to live in another house with his entire family.
