Independence Day Speech

Autonomy Day is the public celebration of India celebrated on the fifteenth of August and we celebrate it with extraordinary excitement and positive energy. This year we are commending our 77th Independence Day. On this day we honor the memory of the incredible heroes and political dissidents who forfeited their lives to make India a free country. As the 77th Independence Day of India draws closer, educators frequently approach understudies to plan discourses for the propitious day. To give a viable discourse, then, at that point, certainly read these focuses.

History Of Independence Day

On 15 August 1947, the historical backdrop of India was written in brilliant letters. On this day, when the nation became autonomous, the main Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, raised the banner at the Red Fort. From that point forward each year the Prime Minister of the nation lifts the banner with red letters, sings the public song of devotion, and honors all the martyred political dissidents with 21 weapons. Consistently the Prime Minister of the nation tends to the kinsmen through his discourse and the military plays out its power show and march walk. Upon the arrival of Independence Day, there is full excitement alongside the sensation of nationalism in the personalities, everything being equal.

Since its freedom, India has gained a great deal of headway till now. All schools, universities, foundations, markets, workplaces, production lines, and so forth stay shut on 15 August Independence Day. This day is an administrative occasion. The banner is lifted all over the place. Social projects are coordinated in schools, universities, and so on in which every one of the understudies takes part and sings devoted tunes, discuss verse, and dance to social melodies.

  • India got independence from British rule on 15 August 1947.
  • Before independence, India was a British colony and during that period our people suffered a lot and sacrificed their lives.
  • People born after independence should feel proud because they are lucky to be born in an independent India. So they should accept the sacrifice of our freedom fighters.
  • After independence, we got our constitution and we are able to enjoy our fundamental rights.
  • We all should be proud to be Indian, and we should praise our destiny that we are born in the land of independent India.
  • From 1857 to 1947, history witnessed many rebellions and sacrifices of our great leaders and freedom fighters.
  • We must not forget the sacrifices of all those freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, and lakhs of others whose names are not even known but they fought to free India from the colonial rule of the British.
  • We should remember and follow the teachings of freedom fighters like Gandhiji's philosophy of non-violence in our lives.
  • The national flag is hoisted on this auspicious occasion of Independence Day.
  • The national anthem is sung by people across the country.
