The children told Grandfather about him and said- “You should go there. He is full of sailors." But Grandpa said- "Now I can't make new friends."

The children told the children of the owner of the inn – “Our grandfather was a sailor. He knows many stories of pirates and buried treasure and also knows where the pirates hid the treasure.”

Soon, Grandpa started receiving invitations from the inn. Grandfather now spent his time in the inn and he was happy to be here. The children were also happy because now Grandpa was always with them.

Story - Copycat Crow

Once upon a time, there lived a foolish crow in a forest. One day he saw an eagle attacking a weak lamb. looking at him, The eagle picked up the lamb in its mighty paws and then carried it to its nest. The crow was very impressed by that eagle. The crow thought that he could do the same.

He also started looking for his prey. He also saw a lamb flying in the sky. He fell on her straight from the sky. He tried to hold the lamb in his paws, but it was too heavy for him.

Not only this, he got badly stuck in her hair. The shepherd saw him and locked him in the cage. In this way, the foolish crow got itself caught in the net for imitating the eagle.

Story - Poor Bhakt

A poor man lived in a village. He was so poor that he could hardly afford a meal for his family. But he never complained about his poverty to anyone.

He was satisfied with what he had. He was a great devotee of the goddess. That's why he always went to the temple to worship. He used to go to his work only after going to the temple.

One day the goddess took pity on her poor devotee. So one morning the goddess with her divine power placed a bag full of gold coins outside the temple.

The devotee came to the temple and closed his eyes and started circumambulating around the temple meditating on the goddess. With his eyes closed, he could not see the bag full of gold coins and went away. Seeing this, the goddess thought, 'No one gets anything ahead of time and more than luck'.

Story - You Help Yourself

Once a rich merchant was going from one city to another by ship for the purpose of trade. He was also carrying a box full of precious gems and gold coins with him.

There was a storm on the way. The ship started to shake here and there. After a few hours, the storm subsided, but there was a hole in the bottom of the ship. Now water started filling the ship.

Seeing this, some people drowned in the ship itself and some lucky ones swam to the shore. Seeing this the merchant started praying, "Oh my God! Please save my life."

A man went to the merchant and said, "Jump and swim to the shore of the sea. God helps those who help themselves." But the merchant did not listen to him.

He remained on the ship. After a while, the ship sank and that merchant also drowned with the ship and became the victim of premature death.

Story - Brave Geese

Before long, the rulers of Rome had become overconfident in their power. Then the bandits called Gauls attacked them.

A brave soldier was guarding the treasury behind the Capitol (Temple of Jupiter). The Gauls tried hard to climb the steep cliffs but failed.

Later he came to know the secret way of Capitol. They planned the attack at night. Roman soldiers in the dark did not know about the girls' arrival, But there were geese kept to be sacrificed to the Roman god. When the geese saw the enemies, they started making loud noises.

Their noise woke the Romans. They bravely fought alongside the Gauls. The Roman army also reached there and the enemies have driven away.

The Roman rulers were very happy with the discord. He decided that he would not be sacrificed in the future. That decision is still considered today.
