Long ago there was a farmer named Shankar. He made his living by farming and selling wood from his trees. Once he put the wood in a bullock cart and went to another village to sell it.

On the way, Shankar met a Seth from that village. Seth asked Shankar for wood, 'how much is the car' Shankar told that everyone has 5 rupees. Seth said okay I am buying this. You leave this at my house.

Shankar reached Seth's house with a bullock cart full of wood. Shankar took the money given to Seth and started coming with his bullock cart, then Seth said that there was talk of our whole car. Now you cannot take this bullock cart.

Shankar said that this happens a little. Seth said that you have given a promise of 5 rupees for the car, now you should follow your promise. Words matter a lot in business. Even after much persuasion by Shankar, Seth did not agree.

Due to this he had to roll empty-handed. On reaching home, his sons asked about Belgai, so he told them about Seth's handiwork. Shankar's youngest son was smart. He thought of teaching Seth a lesson.

The next day he started going towards the same village after putting the wood in the bullock cart. On the way, he also met the same, Seth. Seth thought that a goat is coming again today.

Seth again asked the same thing, 'how much is the car', Shankar's son said only 'two fists' Seth thought that he is even more foolish than yesterday, in two fists, I will give it by pressing 2 annas.

He asked to leave the wood at home. He reached Seth's house with the bullock cart. After reaching home, he gave all the wood to Seth. Seth brought it from inside by pressing 2 annas in the fists of both his hands.

He told Shankar's son, to take two handfuls of money. Shankar's son took out the knife and said, I did not ask for two fists of money, I want your fists and he proceeded to cut them.

On this Seth refused, then Shankar's son said that you have given a promise and in business, the word matters a lot. He told the whole thing to Seth, how he had cheated Shankar.

Seth apologized to Shankar's son with folded hands and gave a fair price for the earlier bullock cart and wood. In this way, Shankar's son saved his family from being cheated because of his cleverness.

Story - Four Brahmins

Once upon a time, four Brahmins lived in a village. Among them, three Brahmins had learned some knowledge. While the fourth Brahmin was ordinary, he did not know any knowledge.

One day three Brahmins thought of going to the city and earning some money from their education. And seeing him going towards the city, the fourth Brahmin also said that I also have to earn money by going to the city.

On this, the three Brahmins said that you do not know any knowledge, what will you do by going to the city. You stay here The fourth Brahmin said that I will do your work. The three brahmins agreed to take him along in the greed of getting their work done.

After this, the four Brahmins left for the city. As he was passing through the forest, he saw a bone structure. Seeing the four Brahmins, they started thinking, whose structure would this be. Then a brahmin, demonstrating his tantric knowledge, added the structure of that bone.

From which he became the skeleton of a lion. After this another brahmin also showed his tantric knowledge and filled the flesh in that bone structure, so that he looked completely lion, only life was left in him.

Where the third Brahmin was less, he also wanted to show his knowledge in front of everyone. He started reciting the mantra to bring life to that lion. Seeing this, the fourth brahmin said what are you doing, why are you putting life into it.

The third brahmin said you keep quiet, you are a fool, you do not know any knowledge, so do not speak anything between us scholars.

The fourth brahmin understood that he did not believe and he quickly climbed on top of a nearby tree. As soon as the third Brahmin killed the lion, that lion ate all three Brahmins. Because he had no idea who made him.

After a while, the lion left and the fourth Brahmin got down from the tree and went towards the village. He was thinking while going that what is the meaning of such knowledge that cannot explain the difference between right and wrong.

Story - Birbal's Justice

Once upon a time, Akbar's court was a punishment. Two merchants Dinanath and Ramprasad came to Akbar's court. Akbar asked him to introduce himself and the reason for his arrival.

Ramprasad introduced the two and told that he had lent 100 gold coins to Dinanath a month ago. But now he is not only refusing to return it but is also lying that I have never lent him gold coins.

After this Ramprasad said, Hazur, he never lent me gold coins, he is saying this to harm my business. Akbar listened to both of them and told Birbal that he should do justice to both of them.

Birbal asked both of them in detail what had happened. Both of them told things in their own way. Birbal told Emperor Akbar that it is certain that one of these two people is lying. I need 1 day to find out.

Akbar gave Birbal 1 day to resolve the matter. Birbal went home and thought a lot, after that said to his servant Ramu, you go to the market and find out about Dinanath and Ramprasad, what kind of person both are.

Ramu came to the market to find out about the two and told Birbal that Ramprasad was described by everyone as a good and honest person while Dinanath was described as a greedy and deceitful person.

Birbal then gave Ramu two pots filled with ghee and put a gold coin in each. Birbal said to Ramu, go become a ghee trader and sell this pot of ghee to Dinanath and Ramprasad and stay there till the next day and see who returns that gold coin to you.

Ramu did the same and sold both of them a pot filled with ghee. After which Ramprasad returned the gold coin but Dinanath did not return the gold coin. He came and told this to Birbal.

Birbal called both Ramprasad and Dinanath to the court the next day and told them that Dinanath was lying and he was guilty. When Akbar asked the reason, Birbal told the whole thing to Akbar.

Akbar asked Dinanath to return 100 gold coins, along with 100 gold coins, he would have to give extra to harass Ramprasad. Akbar praised Birbal for his intelligence.
