YouTube

During the nineties and early 2000s, people used to see changing channels on TV to watch the trailer of new films.

But now the times have changed. Trailers of all kinds of films, small and big, are being launched directly on YouTube.

Not only this, programs like AIB, The Viral Fever, The Pretenses Movie Review are exclusively broadcast on YouTube itself and the number of people watching them is not less.

Even the entire film is available on this platform.

People are broadcasting videos on this by making a personal channel, in return YouTube is giving them money.

But the question is, how do people make money by putting their videos or programs on YouTube?

Does not the producer do harm to the entire films being available on YouTube?

Doesn't this pose a danger of piracy?

How can a common man make money from this platform?

According to YouTube's content operations chief Satya Raghavan, video-makers and advertisers are also earning well from YouTube.

Sathya explains, "In the last year, the trend of people has changed a lot. Bollywood has understood this thing very well and filmmakers have also started coming on a YouTube channel to promote their films."

On the question of piracy, Sathya said, "Piracy cannot be a threat, because, after the production of the film, producers and directors contact YouTube, as well as a 29 to a 60-day agreement. Only then comes to YouTube. "

The money comes from advertisements appearing on YouTube videos.

Sathya says that 45 percent of the revenue from advertisements goes to the creator of YouTube and 55 percent of the video.

Apoorva Lakhia, who has made films like 'Shootout at Lokhandwala', says, "This is a very good stage. Here we can show the audience what is not normally shown. For example, the making of the film, etc."

On the other hand, Delhi-Belly director Abhinay Dev says, "Your product can be viewed by more and more viewers due to YouTube, it is also a big and good platform for Bollywood."

Yes, there is talk of adverse effects on YouTube from the CD / DVD parlor and market.

With the increasing speed of the internet, consumers are now finding it more convenient to watch videos on this platform.

But many times such content comes on YouTube which many people find objectionable.

At present, there is no provision of any kind of censorship on videos coming on this platform.

Yes, if anyone has objections to these, then they can report to YouTube, which, if found correct, removes that video.
